The consultancy had the scope to provide appropriate tools to manage the urban planning process for seven sites included in the property to be nominated in the UNESCO World Heritage list, and their Buffer Zones, in Sharjah. Namely, on the basis of the first draft of the Nomination File and in compliance with the Outstanding Universal Value identified, the service has consisted in verifying and revising the proposed delimitation of the sites and in defining basic regulations for their protection (for each Core and Buffer Zone).
