The project, promoted by the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT), has defined urban strategies, design guidelines and regulatory tools for the Buffer Zone in order to protect and enhance the natural, cultural, historical and landscape components of the oasis and the surrounding area, reinforcing their role within the Al Ain urban center.
